Thoughts are Things II

At the fount of life,
There’s a voice that sings,
Between each breath:
Thoughts are things.

You might have forgot
(It’ll never end)
Observe your thoughts
And what they send.

Like a golden cord as it ties
Future moments, touching lives.
Wrapping tightly around events
Creating the karmic consequence.

We build our sphere thought by thought,
And never here is a thought forgot.

You leave each scene with a trace.
On ripples and waves
Through outer space.

And returning from
A distant travel,
The whole mystery
Begins to unravel…

From thought is wrought:
The weapons of fear
The goblets of cheer.
The adrenalin rush
The Midas touch
Hit or miss,
An inner bliss,
The lovely face.
Beauty and grace.
Infinite range,
Secrets strange.

Thoughts will fly
And many have flown,
To bring an abundance
Of what you’ve sown.

For one can’t pass
What thoughts bring,
For thoughts are things
With airy wings.

The merry travels of a noble thought.
Can give you every-thing you’ve got.

For even our remotest notion,
(Just the hint of a thought in motion!)
Forms ripples in the cosmic ocean.

Left behind are truths to tell,
Creating heavens or a hell.
Repeated thoughts cast a pattern
From here to the furthest rings of Saturn.

Passed down the ages,
In wisdom’s wages,
A secret history,
The great mystery.
The glory of kings,
Where laughter clings,
The minstrel sings:
Thoughts are things.
